If you are aware that a neighbor is unwell, he encourages referring a wellness check by the Fire Department.
A wellness check is where the Fire Department would pay a visit to someone to evaluate them. If you have had a dry cough or diarrhea, these are know symptoms of COVID-19.
People can request a wellness check on behalf of someone if you fear that something is going on.

Our primary role is to keep everyone safe. We cannot delay setting priorities for management of safety, essential services, communication and emergency assistance. And it is critical that we explore and implement safe ways to continue tapping into Wayland’s long history of volunteerism.
